Why isn't this a movie yet? Hunger Games and Immortal Imstruments are coming out in 2012. Gone would definately fill the young adult spot that Harry Potter has been filling for the last 10 years. I need to see this on the big screen

@pbookbuddy I worried about that too, but there are some problems with that idea. One is that the special effects wouldn't be of the same quality as a film. Two is that a tv show can always get cancelled, even if the story isn't finished. And even though it would have more detail, it could also move very slowly to accommodate the lack of storyline. Having the show being overly drawn out could be a problem in itself. Remember, each book only takes place over the course of a few days

I have Michael Grant on my FB, and he said that yet again gone the movie has been declined :(

I would love to see the movie, but still the movie will NEVER be able to portray what I imagine in my head when something happens in the book! I imagine the characters, and I don't think that the movie will be able to create the characters EXACTLY as I see them......
