Saying "IBMs are gay" is pretty retarded. In what context do you think they are gay? I can run over my ThinkPad with an 18-wheeler and still turn it on if I wanted to. Could you do that with your MacBook Pro that is made of crap-ass Taiwanese plastic? Probably not. I love MacBook Pros, but my IBM is built to withstand a beating and half.
What other company uses a Magnesium roll-cage just to protect the MONITOR? None, so stfu do some research before making an ass out of yourself.

@chillaxed007 thinkpads are actually pretty good computers. i bought mine at the suggestion of my computer geek friend who was basically running a webhosting company before we even got out of highschool. put some suse on that shit and you're good to go. also macs are pcs

I have tried Ubuntu 3 times. I dont like it, The fan never went off. I never understand how Ubuntu worked :P
But I want to try Mac or an other Linux, any OS you can recummend?!

he could just be running Linux. There's loads of tutorials on making Linux Ubuntu look like a Mac in every way, shape, and form.

You can run Kalyway 10.4.10, it was the most compatible osx86 installer dvd release for me, its much better than 10.4.1 :).

i got used to windows, i couldn't do anything when i had the mac on the laptop. no start button no programs no games

how does it run? Any lag time? Would this be better than say a macbook running Mac OS?

It runs really fast,
yes, this is better than a macbook running a Mac OS.
but it would depend on what the specs of your pc compared to the specs of the macbook.
it doesn't hurt to try it yourself.
loads in 5 seconds when i turn on my computer.
