Once upon a time I got a myspace page
I would upload all my emo pictures
with my hair covering half of my face

Then for roughly nine seconds I had a Live Journal
I'd post poetry and cryptic song lyrics
that I found deep and meaningful

I guess those were the dark days
when I didn't know what I was missing

Next a website called Facebook got a popularity surge
I could poke my friends and plant crops on farmville
and Facebook stalk or what I call research

Then a bunch of famous people decided they loved twitter
but I found it way too stressful to condense my feelings
into a hundred and forty characters

but a very savvy group of my friends
said dude, whatcha doin, cuz you should be Tumblin
