"Maybelline" ("Check it Out!" Campaign)

The talent in the spot is Ms. Teen Puerto Rico. She was hired by Maybelline to perform in the Spanish versions of their "Check it Out" campaign. Our Post Boutique was hired to do the production and post on them all. I directed the talent against the bluscreen fabric I lit, I Posted it, and also handled the ADR for the commercial. Unfortunately, the studio we shot in was not rigged for audio, so I had Ms. Teen Puerto Rico arrive at our sound booth and do her lines to visual playback. I did a straight-to-digital recording in Pro-Tools as she performed her lines. I then synced everything back up for 29.97 broadcast TV, as well as 24p laser scan to 35 mm for cinema projection.
