Two different versions of the Fugees hit 'ready or not' with two different eras of the same genre of music. You decide which is best, maybe you like both.

  • Hay, I choose quality, I know what is a good mix not just any mix outhere and the tunes I pick what people missed out. My own mixes is down to chance if people like them but hope they fit in.

  • So what do preople prefer? the drum and bass version or the Jungle version?

  • A You decide video, remix of 96' vs 04'.

  • dobra

  • I was hoping I would prefer the Jungle so I could say I know where my DnB roots are etc etc but Holy Shit when that DnB bassline starts you just gotta move and get your screw face on. @Wiseyodafunkeeebeats Nuffin wrong wit bein a chav fam lol ;)

  • Jungle With elements of jump up and ol-skoo DnB is The shit. I love reezes and sub-basslines!!!!!

  • love them both, big difference, but i do love the new DNB. i can tell you, im no chav, as i listen to everything but i do like this new generation of music :)

  • DnB

  • i hear a lot of people differentiating jungle vs dnb but honestly im new to the genre somewhat like ive heard it before when i was little specially when i played grand theft auto 3 and it honestly sounds similar except that dnb has a more polished sound to it

  • jungle has definitely left its mark in drum and bass but also in break-core and gabber, even rock. i believe personally that it is a less defined genre in its self compared to drum and bass though, but that is what makes it so special.

  • the 2004 definitely takes the crown, but they are both good mixes. On one level the 1996 takes it cause I'd be willing to bet there was a lot more originality used in creation. However, based on me being lit, and zoning out off of both, the new is the better. Technique is more advanced...in...how many years? of course it is. BTW I always thought DnB was taken from Hip-hop and Jungle was taken from Reggae. Thus the different steps. I can dance better to jungle. but it's all untz untz to me

  • 96 version still rules, its purer. the 04 is good with some decent drops but theyve mixed in some sounds which just doesnt sit with me very well.

  • i thaught the 96 was DJ Hype not zinc?
