I used 2 watch passions n although it was a really gd soap ,the ratings were 2 low ,so NBC was forced 2 cancel it ,wht the producers of passions at tht time should,ve done was hook-up with soapnet.com b/c ,at least they would,ve had a fighting chance 2 stay on the air.

You can be shocked with the intent of torture, coersion, MONEY for the shock docs and staff (after all its their "profession") ECT is well known to cause memory loss. Occasionally people die from it. Maybe more often than we are told. The mental hospital has complete control of the "patients they treat" People on the inside are drugged, injected, strapped down, abused, whatever the hospital wants. If youre able to communicate with the outside world and say they hurt you, youre called delusional.

this was like 2004ish?
Passions ended b/c the ratings were too low, and NBC wanted a 29th hour of the Today show...well, maybe not 29th, but some ridiculous #. So it went to Dtv, but they also canceled it b/c even though it was the top rated original show for them, it didn't bring in as many new customers as they were expecting.
That's the real answer. My answer is b/c they kept Luis and Sheridan apart for too long and butchered their characters, ;)
