It's interesting that they put Allison Electra type turboprop engines on this model as the DC-6 had older regular prop engines on it.

Strange looking plane. It looks like the Allison 501 turbo prop engines of a Lockheed Electra, grafted onto a DC-7. Quite interesting, nevertheless.

I found a old old pair of American Airlines jacks probably 40s or 50s does anybody know how much they could be worth?
I had that when I was 6! I loved it!. Thanks for the memories!!

I've got the TWA version of this plane and was really surprised when I bought it that all four engines still ran.
