  • hello....yes i ring the bells....well not that ofter any more because im more involved in our chant schola, but yes i agree....the bells being rung during consecration is a very beautiful thing. Pax Christi.

  • Those are Spanish-style dead hung bells. They are attached to the beam by a bracket or a chain, so they will sometimes move a little. Do you ring them throughout the consecration? That is a beautiful custom all parishes should follow.

  • you pulled it?? i been there it was kinda cool! they had rock candy over there....

  • I think I pulled the bottom left rope too hard....it looks broken. I don't think the bell itself is supposed to be moving.
