A student from ISM was interviewing children at a charity school about the trauma of typhoon Ondoy, one young boy was showing no emotion while speaking about the disaster, then I heard sobbing coming from behind me so I went to comfort the boys mother, he also went and sat on her lap - still showing no emotion. The student asked the mother if she wanted to share her story and we made this video. No script, not prepared, just brutal reality. Please know I will keep my promise and pay for her to finish her studies and she has given me permission to share this video.

Please see the web sites of the two charities that have helped her and many others:

Please can I also credit and thank the Springboard Foundation:

Also may I thank the many in the Philippines and around the world who responded. While this video is full of tears it has been followed by smiles from the many blessings that you have helped us provide.

For photos and a brief description of the typhoon in our area please see:

Thank you for viewing this, please leave your encouragement for her and the other victims in the comments. The children still cry every time heavy rain starts and I have tears in my eyes writing this.

Any donations for the victims are greatly appreciated, they will need help for years to come for education etc but even if you cannot donate please leave a message of encouragement for the victims and those who have helped them.

Blessings,

Craig.

PS This lady walks a long distance to college so she can save money to feed her family, how so many of us take forgranted the education we have had.
