I've heard that AT&Ts is the fastest 3G network, but is it's coverage as good as say Verizon?

Let me give a concrete example. Suppose, for marketing reasons, I want to have a 99 cent special for my apps on CHristmas eve only? This requires NO intervention on apples part when I change pricing tiers, but alas I cannot do it because the website will be down for 2 weeks.

There is no good reason to do that, none at all. Can you imagine if your companies hosting site just decided to shut down, your website is down, you lose money. They can operate on a skeleton staff instead of locking out ALL the iPhone and iPod developers from doing anything with their business in the app store for two weeks.

@AppleSoldier: What I meant was:because he was sick for half a year he couldn't do that many things that would influence the world.While I agree Apple has done a lot to influence our lives this year wasn't the one.2007 with the iPhone would have been a better choice.Maybe 2010 when the Apple Tablet saves the publishing industry
