My entry for Neravaira's No Effects Contest.
It was in fact a big pleasure to do. I felt like in these good old times, when I used to sit with songs text opened in Word, planning it all, marking verses with colors and thinking hard to match clips with the lyrics.
And if it wasn't for this song, I would have never made an all-Anastasia vid. Unlike most of Disney's, it's just not an AMV film. No magic, no great transformations and very little breathtaking, colorful clips. Just the girl and her story. The story that matched the lyrics better than I might have thought. 'Cause it's all about the past and the future, memories and dreams... I wished we were allowed to use black-and-white, it would help a lot, but I hope I managed to get it just with fades (I hate fades in PowerDirector! How can a simple transition be so tricky?).
The ending is very random, but I have loads of work to do for school, so I wanted to finish this vid in order not to get distracted (you know how it goes, these problems with choosing between two activities, which ends up as one hour of learning and three of cutting the clips...)
Oh, and I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING. NEITHER THE SONG NOR THE FILM.
