Some people gorge on food, some people are homosexual,some people want a family. Some are all of the above! You made your choices in life, why not let them.

@aarkaarkangel yeah, you missed the point. I think it's funny that people automatically associate being overweight with gorging food. I also think it's strange that people think it's as bad to over eat as it is to pervert nature and have sex with people who have the same genitals.

Whatever a person enjoys sexually has nothing to do with their desire to raise children. There are some heterosexual people who have nearly no sex drive, but still wish to raise children. Homosexuality is proven to not be a choice, therefore why would the absense in sexual attraction to the other gender also indicate an absense in the desire to have children? Those are two completely seperate desires, that are only related in cause/effect, but not related in the motivation for wanting.

@SirSelby Yes, but we were not called or created to live by our desires, but to live by God's will. God intended sex to be only for marriage, and while not all people can or do have children, the main purpose of sex is to continue the species. Gay people indulge their desires, and their "needs" but leave God and His will out of the picture. The real sin they commit is the same one we all do, i.e. refusing to acknowledge God.

In a 1991 study done by Bailey and Pillard found that monozygotic twin when one was homosexual the was homosexual 52% of the time, if genetics were the whole story that number would be 100%. The environmental factor must play a role in people becoming homosexual, but I think genetics must be part of it. I think homosexuality is a genetic and environmental response to overpopulation. I don't care whether they get married or not though, not my fight.

I also realize that typing this is of no use to anyone but those who already believe in my point of view. If you've already thought of this and disagreed with it then this post is of no use for you. The only reason I'm liking posting this is to reinforce my own beliefs in my brain- which is one of the most likely reasons anyone does or says anything. Whenever we hear someone we agree with make a statement, it increases pleasure in the brain while argumentative statements create a negative.

From a biological standpoint I agree that their choice is mistaken for the furthering of the species but at the end of the day it doesn't matter to me if Jim Jones or whatever is a homosexual or not. As long as he isn't hitting on me or harassing me, it doesn't have an effect on my life. It shouldn't have an effect on yours either. You are not going to change anyone in this life except yourself. Other people are responsible for their neurological stimuli and behavioral patterns.

So yes in that sense- being gay is very much like you being overweight, or someone having an addiction to cigarettes. All of those things are created based on stimuli to the human body which results in a positive response which leads to repetitive action. I myself am not gay nor do I find it appealing whatsoever but I don't judge them. I try to understand that our minds were made in such a way to encourage or discourage all types of behavior and that's simply the choice theirs made.

I personally believe that homosexuality isn't from "birth" like many people think it is but rather a a neurological association that one's brain creates during early years. The same association can create an affinity toward a vast number of habits. People receive certain stimuli before they're old enough to understand that it isn't socially acceptable to have such behavior and they're imprinted for life with that behavior until they make a decision to accept different stimuli.

If you truly believe in the bible, in the word of god- you wouldn't behave this way. The most general overall theme of the bible is to cherish the life you are given and accept the lives of others. What benefit could you possibly gain by spreading hateful thoughts? No one is going to change because you want them to. They are just going to think badly of you and all the people of your faith.

Apologeticsman- I saw one of your Irish Whistle videos a little while ago and I enjoyed your playing so I looked at the comments. Someone questioned your faith and that disturbed me because the video had nothing to do with god or religion. Then I check your channel and see all of these videos with questions and statements about other people in the world.

@apologeticsman no u arent actually telling us what god wants, your telling us what that dead cult leader guy... jesus, and his generations of followers are preaching, which has actually changed a lot since jesus was around. so how do u know u r actually reading "the word of god" when bout half of that book had been re-written to fit medieval church needs
