2. Add This Source On iPhone : repo.bingner.com And Install SAM And SamPrefs

3. Run Redsn0w As Administrator And Go Through Process But Only Check Deactivate In The Options!!! Make Sure Cydia And Everything Else Is Unchecked!

4. Once Finished Unplug iPhone And Go To Settings Then Scroll Down To SAM And Click De-Activate

5. Open iTunes And Watch As You Are Legit Activated!

@mlain69 ***If iTunes says invalid SIM, you will need to manually select the appropriate carrier (from where your purchased the iPhone) under one of the methods besides “Automatic” and click on a SIMID.

***If you installed SAM and manually set your carrier but it is not working, please be sure you clicked on the SIM ID-even if there is only one.

Anyone who is getting EMERGENCY SCREEN after Deactivating, open itunes and plug the iphone in until it 'activates' then take it out and follow the video... worked for me :)

if I activated the iphone with a friends sim card, will I still have to do this? There still seems to be battery drainage...
