http://smokingstrobes.com - Every one of us glamour photographers as favorite photographic styles which may require special lighting setups. One style that ole cousin Michael really loves is achieved by a lighting setup which I call the vertical lighting sandwich. You sandwich your model between two buns of light. Funny enough, most of the model remains in shade.

If you wish to know how to shoot posh, artistic and sculptural photos using this technique, then check the video and have a look at the lighting diagram at http://smokingstrobes.com/learnphotography021

I wish you good light!

  • falling effect? what about her hair?

  • I guess she is lesbian...

    good video

  • oh my gosh you might be my new best friend!

  • it is very hard to get an audience on youtube especially for new channels.

although everyone is writing 'check out my channel', i think you should do that (i do that aswell) because the videos might be really good although no one is watching them.

so: check out my channel about photography and comedy!

If you think so too: thumps up! Thank you!

  • Very helpful tips! Keep them coming!

  • GOOD JOB.

  • YOU KNOW WHAT, I think that is is very cool to actually see someone out there just giving out tips to people!!! VERY COOL!!!

  • @gotrottin What did he do, exactly? He was just playing around it looked to me.

  • I didn't care for the way he sqwashed the models enthusiam in the beggining of the video. You can have all the money in the world for lights, but knowing how to handle people is a priceless gift.

  • @luthorish If you select them with the polygon lasso tool in photoshop cs5 then hit the delete key it will bring up an option to use content aware. It will delete them and just draw in the surrounding material around the strings. If I didn't do it that way then I would just duplicate the layer, delete them from one layer then merge. Just google content aware and it should be the first page by Adobe.
