"Hatter's Castle" is a 1941 British film adaptation of the 1931 novel by A. J. Cronin, which dramatizes the ruin that befalls a Scottish hatter who is set on recapturing his imagined lost nobility. The film was directed by Lance Comfort and stars Robert Newton, Deborah Kerr, James Mason, and Emlyn Williams. It is believed to be the only film that depicts the Tay Bridge disaster.

  • the book is not like this at all she loves denis. denis loves her he dies she suffers and only after

    years she will love the doctor, you should read the book its very dramatic

  • "I was out shopping Father, and I ran short of money" is what she says so there's no mistake!

  • 5:25 ) Ops! Theres a little dialogue mistake! Father and I ran out of money. Surely Mr. Brodie, is her father? Or am I missing something in this movie?
