its odd how some "gamers" will say its "gay" if we didnt blay these and buy these old games the companies wouldent make more 3d games after ballblazer and other pioneer games also i have same problem my picture is shifted too ill look for a solution but if you find one tell me i got a 600xl with 64k and a mod to output to modern TVs with AV jacks does great american road race have a differnt color to the desert for you?

why does this look graphically worse than the atari 7800 version, if the atari 7800 came before the XEGS? don't tell me they kept the same ROM from the first atari 8 bit computers!!!

@Alaska1925 The XEGS is indeed based on the Atari 400/800 8-bit computer platform, introduced in 1979. Atari wanted to both compete with the Nintendo and sell off their warehouses full of old 8-bit computer games, so they decided to repackage the 65XE computer into a "game console" with a light gun, detachable keyboard, and Missile Command game in ROM. But the CPU, graphics, and sound capabilities are all identical to the original Atari 800.
