what gail has done has painstakingly gone through every word
and syllable of the Bible and found all of the egregious mistakes
your translators did, you need to read about the translators with
their colorful daemonic backgrounds, that you stand behind. what Gail has done for the Christian community will be
appreciated for millions of years, your contribution will be
forgotten

@souldude81 "She wrongly assumes that the word of God is used to persuade some one to the faith. It is not."
Oh really?: "Jphn 20:31 but these are written that YOU MAY BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."
Sounds like persuasion and faith engendering to me.

The opposition to the kjv would like to drown the issue in intellectual jargon; but only this proof is needed. Do the modern Bibles diminish the deity of Christ? Answer: Yes. Would this be the work of God or Satan? Answer: Satan. There is no way to answer this logic except through a muddying of the waters. The real issue here is always avoided. The translations are all so different they cannot all be Gods word. I'll stick with the tried and true; the Christ honoring KJV.

@kingpins9 You're absolutely right!! The Holy Bible (KJV) is ALL that we EVER need.
Gail is a victim of what I call surface theology. Some one with strong intellect who bases everything she believes in catagorical truths, that makes sense to her. She wrongly assumes that the word of God is used to persuade some one to the faith. It is not. It is use to teach and correct yes, but not to persuade a potential follower into the faith. Only the Father calls people unto himself. We are nothing more than the caretakers and teachers of the word. We testify by our own walk & experiences

You're wrong. The word of God is most definitely used to persuade men to believe in the faith. Jesus told his followers to preach the gospel. It is up to the individual that hears the gospel to choose whether to believe it. Romans 10:17, " So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Acts 17:2, "And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures".

Actually no it's not. If you read the scriptures carefully, it says only the Father calls people to himself. Faith is a gift. We are called to preach yes, but that is entirely different than persuasion. The second we try to convince some one through arguments, we hinder the chance for faith to take root.

2 Corinthians 5:11, "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences."
I rest my case.
