  • GO VINNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you know that these are some of the top session players in Nashville, one of the top recording cities in the world. If your gonna say you dont respect steve patrick then you are saying you dont respect someone you have heard on recordings hundreds of times. He is the first call trumpet in nashville your an idiot and he can do a lot more then play high. He is great

  • I Love The LoudHorns!!!! I was at that concert!!!

  • @chetslad Have you listened to ANYTHING else these guys have done? Sorry they didn't do another reham of a rhythm changes song from 70 or 80 years ago....

  • I was lucky enough to see Maynard Ferguson play once in the early 80's.

These are very talented musicians that bring back some of those great Maynard memories.

Thank you to all of them.

  • Chetclad.. you know who says stuff like that? People who cant play high! Get off youtube and go practice and you might become something more than a wanna-be that has nothing better to do than talk trash to great musicians on youtube. Either that or come out of the closet, pick up an oboe and leave the trumpet to "real men".

  • One other comment to you:

This audience had more adults than students from what I could see, and every person there was inspired by the music.

Isn't that what it's all about?

This concert was a tribute to the late Maynard Ferguson, who performed on this very stage twice. Perhaps you are too cultured to know about Mr. Ferguson, but he spent much of his career inspiring an entire generation of musicians. He cared about what you call "a bunch of high school kids".

  • chetslad:

You have no idea what you're talking about. These guys brought a whole new arrangement to this classic, and it is absolutely powerful and outstanding.

  • Great, now do something remotely musical and you might win more than the esteem of a bunch of high school kids and high note jockeys.

  • Great band, great ensemble work, great arrangements, wonderful moments in music, thanks guys! Keep up the great work.
