This has to be the most homo-themed ad ever shown in this country. Two men. In motocross gear. In a secluded carpark. Winking and nodding at each other nonchalantly. One of them has just dumped his woman. Either Toyota's marketing men were chasing the butch pink dollar or had no idea what they were doing when they made the most LOL-tastic ad ever.

@dukeznay Workhorse? Hardly. With it's lowered springs and bilsteins, it won't carry much. It drinks like a fish and isn't the fastest. Also it's ugly with small wheels and was too expensive when new. Toyota could have made it look prime, but they're Toyota, they don't have a clue how to make a car sexy. An SS Holden ute is a much better sporty ute. Family guy likes luxury SUVs (or more precisely his wife does). This is why the TuRD Hilux failed, badly.

@aussiemick83 BMW's are for fags, hilux trd is a workhorse at the end of the day, much rather my hliux than a gay mazda or bmw soz

I only saw this ad for the first time last night my sister and I were nearly peeing ourselves for several minutes afterwards. Well done Toyota. Ads for men are the best.

I said a USED X5, which can be picked up for about $40k these days, for $60k you can get a V8 one that's only been driven on the private school run. Who cares that it's not exactly the latest?
The TRD Hilux makes a NEW X5 look like a bargain. $60k for something with leaf springs, tiny wheels and ugly stripes is highway robbery IMO. Make it cheaper and decent looking and I may be intereseted. At the moment it looks like it crashed into a SuperCheap Auto shop.
