@ShellMoments excuse me ,,, but there many fish you can keep brackish ,, monos most damsels , eels , scats , columbian cats , mollie, guppy and all the live barrers canes sharks , datnoids , acci , gobies , and more but you should check the temperment of these fish , and dont forget brackish is often misinterperated it goes some time quite high in gravity try two table spoons pergallon ,,, ok ?

those violet gobies look like they could just gulp down some of your smaller fish

@pissnuggit guppies and mollies are one of the main fish u could ever have

I love dragonfish so much, I've never had one but i have a freshwater setup with a turtle and cichlids, if i added enough salt so the turtle wasn't irratated, do you think a dragonfish would be ok? the turtle has never shown signs of wanting to eat a fish, but the cichlids might be protective...

nice tank. what kind of sand do you use?
I just started a new tank because i wanted a small community tank and well I didn't have a clue about puffers and i got two. Now i'm trying to balance the tank to both. So brackish will kill my mollies and other fish?

hi shellmoments,
I hate to be the bringer of bad news but puffers dont tend to make for good tankmates in a community tank, they are just too aggressive. The mollies will be fine in brackish, but will probably get fin nipped quite a bit.

Wait, how did you get guppies in there?! I thought guppies weren't a brackish species...
Beatiful tank, looks a tad overcrowded though. Probably not, just that I am used to looking at my completely bare fish tank :P.
How hard are those flounders to keep?

guppies, like mollies, can be kept in brackish water. The supplier of fancy guppies for my LFS breeds his in brackish water only, apparently they are hardier in these conditions.
I definitely have loads of fry on the go, but the video is a bit deceiving because they have all rushed the front expecting to be fed =)
As for the flounder, they are pretty hard to keep, they prefer live food to the point where most wont eat anything but.
