@damnyouzabitch i got pulled over in uniform after taking off my exhaust for shits n giggles (cherry bomb for x-mas yay for that) he looked almost ashamed lol, i didnt really mind, apologized and said have a good day. Not all police officers are dicks.

I had a half installed X-pipe for a day because the auto hobby shop closed early. So I was driving around with just the X-pipe, no mid, no mufflers and Jesus is sounds sexy.

@StripedStang08 haha oh boy, yeah sounds like what im going through, that muffler is on there pretty good, my other project car never had given this much trouble, but so i do have to take the rubber suspenders off completely then

@StripedStang08 yeah i know, im having the hardest time trying to get those out, like i never had this much trouble with my bullitt but the v6 is killing me, i ended up driving it off the wheel ramps and getting the ramps stuck under the body...its just been hell trying to do exhaust work haha

@ADD8oi Yah that is what it would be considered, but its not a true straight pipe. If it were, it'd be longer and I would have mounted it securely. I only did this to see what the Stang sounds without a muffler.

can you do a short video of how you took it off? im trying but ford went ahead and overcomplicated the whole butt end of the v6s....3 hours of my friday wasted trying to unhook the muffler from the frame

@ADD8oi Well I will try to make a video soon. Im sorry its taken me so long to get back to you bro. I've been having to go through what no 20 year old should have to. The trick with unhooking the muffler is understanding how the rubber suspenders work. I found that using a crescent wrench worked best because it fit into the tight space and allowed be to get good torque on the bolt. I had a hell of a time getting the thing back on! I forgot which way the suspenders went, had to play with it.

@ADD8oi Also, I put a GT takeoff back in place of the original v6 muffler. Interestingly enough, the v6 has three rubber mount/suspenders, while the GT version only has two.
