This video was so helpful. My gym teacher gave us homework. The only thing I knew about bowling was to throw the ball at the pins and get them all to fall, so it was terrible. I ddnt understand any of it so I tried watching a video. I found this. THNX.

I don't understand what I do when I get 2 or more strikes'spares in a row.
Thank you so much for teaching the audience how to keep score. I learned that there is a gutter ball which is a dash, a spare (all pins down in 2nd try), & a strike (10 pins down the 1st try). But I still have a question, Mrs. GeeSky. You said that a player has 2 chances to knock down the 10 pins in each frame. So why is the last BOX for the last frame in the scoring sheet has 3 boxes? Where does the extra box come from?

@KCAASE - Excellent question KCAASE. The third box in the 10th frame is there just case you bowl a strike or a spare. If you bowl a strike you will get to add 10 to the next 2 balls you throw to your score in the 9th frame. If you bowl a spare you will add 10 plus the next 1 ball that you throw. Either way, you will need 3 boxes to record your score.
