  • Oman is in my opinion the best, most attractive part of the Middle East with the nicest 'real' culture. Been there many times years ago. I want to visit Salala ! Andrew Australia

  • @LyleLincoln Yes very exciting. I was already living in Dubai,UAE when I flew to Salalah,Oman & paid in UAE currency, which is Emirates dirhams(AED. I visited back in 1999 approximately. It is not as expensive as Europe if you are already living within the surrounding region. It depends on the Hotel accommodations your looking for & where you are flying in from that would be your biggest costs . Europe I have only visited London once sorry I have no idea about the price comparison .

  • @wxyz483 wow how neat. I had never heard of this place. Was it expensive compared to Europe?

  • @BasicallytoBasics I would say PLENTY! And you're welcome to Dhofar region :)

  • Been here loved my short 3 day visit.Loved seeing the frankincense trees and driving along the beautiful coast & drinking coconut juice out of what else?A freshly cut coconut just add a straw & drink , its biodegradable too. I visited Holy Prophet Job in Biblical scriptures in Arabic he is referred to as Nabi Ayoub tomb. I got to ride a beautiful horse at a carnival a few of the women were looking at me, I guess it seamed a bit strange to them. Also saw the Queen Of Sheba Palace & hieroglyphics.

  • They have trees there?

    I'd go.

  • 3 people have never been to Salalah...

  • I can't believe this.. ahaha,, I want to Visit Salalah someday.. :D

  • lets cool up in salalahhhhhhhhhhhhh
