Sorry about the tracking and rough start but it gets better once Linda starts singing. Linda Eder singing "I Dreamed a Dream" on Star Search 1988. She was undefeated in round 1, so she had no one to compete against in the semi finals.

  • This Woman is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!. I've come to my own conclusion that no one can top her, vocally and emotionally. she is My Absolute favorite female vocalist of all time. Now she just needs to sing a duet with my favorite guy Josh Groban and I'll be thrilled.

  • Her voice has matured and is even more beautiful today.

  • Has Cattle sold out Carnegie Hall? Just a question for the truly tonedeaf.

  • She butchered it. UGH...one of the worst performances I have ever seen. Linda Eder exists for the tone deaf. Catte Adams would wipe her off the fact of the planet.

  • @musicbox63 I don't think there's a possible way for me to agree with you more. i love les mis but this particular version is TERRIBLE. ruins the entire integrity of the song. but she did fantastically

  • Do THAT, Susan Boyle!!!!

  • I just realized I've never heard Linda talk. wow.

  • I have always been a fan of Linda's demon possessed eyes she gets during high notes... example at 3:43

  • I remember this!!! I was 8 years old!!! Linda Eder introduced me to Les Miserables!!! I love her! :)

  • @00001111henry You must be kidding. Suzy has a lovely voice, but there's no way in hell she can out-power this powerhouse. Hell, she's not even seasoned enough to make it through a complete performance without incident. Again, I love Sue's voice but I think she's got to get some experience under her belt before she really hits it big. Just my opinion.

  • Susan Boyle voice more powerful than Linda!
