Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - 1987 World Figure Skating Championships, Pairs' Long Program - Jill Watson and Peter Oppegard of the United States placed 3rd in the Long Program and won the Bronze Medal here despite having a slight difficulty in the landing on the split triple twist lift. That error would cause them to fall a few seconds behind in their music until the end of the slow portion, where they abbreviated the back inside death spiral. You can see that she barely gets down in the position for a full revolution on his pivot.
