I gotta say the ls3 vette impressed the hell out of me. I thought for sure the big daddy ls7 z06 would walk off and leave the ls3 vette. Nice vid.

@ZCivic01 A lot of people underestimate the LS3.. The LS3 is a beast of an engine, throw a cam and bolt ons and you get this - if I was stock I would of got walked hard. It's the perfect platform for the price in my opinion, I just like the way the Z06 looks =)

@C6Zusmc Thats why I am still debating should I get a newer grandsport or go with a 08 z06. Just kinda geting a idea about the ls3.

@ZCivic01 Just my .02 cents but I think you should go w/ just the plain body style LS3 or buy a used 06 / 07 Z06 with low miles for WAY cheaper than a Grandsport. Then spend the extra money for some mods. I don't know what you are going for though.

@kageryu311 its possible sorry i was assuming pump was 91. But even with 93 you need aftermarket turbos and that single exhaust inst helping. Not to mention i have been in 500rwhp Z's and rolled a c6 z06 vett... that Z is probably 500 to the crank meaning around 450 rwhp maybe... but since that vett pulled asap with boltons im going to say the vett had about 470 rwhp and the z had about 450rwhp but z weighs more

@JRDilated Built engines? Dude Supras can make over 500whp on a 62mm turbo and a bone stock longblock (no cams, no valvesprings). You need to do some more research bro. Also C6Zs weigh less than the 300zx (3100lbs vs 3700lbs) and make more power under the curve.

@kageryu311 The supras that have that are running huge turbos and built engines. For a 300z to hit around the 500hp range you need at least 2.5 in TPS and DPS, 555cc injectors, intercooler upgrade, and turbos@18 psi ( since your claiming it to be pump gas), ecu tune. Not to mention that vett just left it withing a second.. if that Z was at 500rwhp it should walk a c6 z06( with stock at about 440 rwhp with boltons maybe 460rwhp)

@JRDilated Supras which have the same displacement as the 300zx are making close to 600whp on 93 at 18psi. I don't see how it would be no way for the 300zx in this vid to do this.

The 300zx tt needs to race again with the new tires bc them races make the Z look bad out there,regardless Z's are hott and always will be nice video!

501whp and a single exit exhaust...geez. not to mention the z is a dual exhaust manifold. This z needs some breather mods.

no way your making 500hp on pump gas on a Z trust me not on 91 octane or 93. What psi you running, ive seen people running pump as high as 19 psi safly on pump after that you need race water ... i know i have a tt Z
