As a final project for my Cinematography class at The University of Texas, I explored several cinematographic elements in this music video:
An exaggerated mixture of daylight and tungsten balanced lights
Shallow to Deep Depth of Field and racking focus
Green Screen
Tripod and Hand-held shots
Combining footage from the Canon 7D and Sony EX-1
The green screen work comes off as a litle cheesy, you might have been better off being on location and using natural light. Other wise great job!

Here's a random critique from someone who doesn't know you from adam. I like the mix/contrast of bright images with the blurred dark images. I think it gets at the conflict of the song's character, he imagines being the winner for this girl, but just feel like he's gonna screw it up. Hire some professional actors and get the band to do the guitar and lip syncing and I'd call this a music video.

Maybe this was good idea, but it's pathetic. Lyrics are strong and masculine, so video should be in that way.
