Zack, you are off to great roots music beginning. The technical musical skills will keep developing if you keep feeding them. I am sure you can do thgis song better now trhanm when you recorded it, and you'll do better tomorrow than today. There's a lot to learn, sure, but nothing can replace your passion and love for the music. That's a strong foundation. Stay humble but be proud. PS --see what happens if you take capo off and play 2nd position on the harp.

That stuff is mellow dude. Good place to start! Check out donovan sometime, he sang mellow yellow back in the 60's
