A Toronto Transit Commission employee has been charged with assault after a man was pushed into a pole on a bus last month.
Police say the employee boarded the bus - on Sheppard Avenue East - and yelled at passengers to move back.
It's alleged a man and his son did not move, and the TTC employee grabbed the man by the shoulder and pushed him against the pole.
Police say Frederick Tulk, 59, of Toronto, surrendered to police on Tuesday and was charged with assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court March 17.
