This piece is an example of a menger cube. You can find instructions on mengermania.com. It took me at least 80 hours to make. I used pieces of 1,1 x 2,2 cm.

Fractals are defined as images that look identical even on infinite zoom. Since you have different appearances for each zoom level, this is technically not a fractal. Well done, though.
