@amcginn002 we have a local guy here that sold his turboed Solara for an RX8, because he wanted a real sportscar. You people need a reality check. I can send you horsepower numbers from a 572 Hemi that will astound you, but that's not what this car is about. Just buy an RX8 and hit the twists, and find out for yourself.

you dyno'ed it in 6TH gear??? that sounds super high..what was the point of that? normally its done in 3rd or 4th max.

their is 2 rx8 : 190 & 231 hp.
but beware of difference between Bhp & Whp !!!
the 231 (I have one) does 190 whp...OEM ...mine 330 :) for now

Hey, what did the Hp and torque end up being? what is it stock on a dyno? i ahve got a '04 red RX8, just want to know the real numbers for when some one asks me.

well rx8's don't dyno that high. the average rx8 that day (we had almost 20 rx8's dyno) was close to 170-180 whp. I made 191whp that run and on a different dyno I made 194whp.
