@angalths ya but the ssd computer was already loaded before the OS on the other computer had fully booted up.
-
They put crappy HD in these computers. 320gb 5400rpm
-
I own a ul30vt, so I can say with some confidence if this has not been said that the computer to the right probably has only been boot up a couple of times since the inital installation. After a dozen or so bootups it should be faster. Also I believe the laptop to the left had a clean install rather then using the recovery partition, which would explain the difference in number of programs

Go check out all the videos on SSD vs HDD... any SSD loads 30-40 seconds faster than a 5400 HDD found on most laptops/netbooks
-
solid state drive i believe

@24342551 No it's a 160go SSD hard drive.
Asus UL80Vs on the left VS UL80Vt on the right.
The only difference is the hard drive and maybe the activation of Turbo33.

but..
why the notebook left is 40 sec faster?
what is the hardware different?
-
left was 40 sec. faster
-
what is the different between left and right?
The slower one also appears to have more programs installed on it, which could increase the boot time as well.
