@Apemano hey thanks for the helpful advice (on a new channel - it's still me!) i've adjusted the set up now and you're right it is much more comfortable!

Pretty good work.
If your up for a tip, look at how high your legs sit compared to the heigh of the FT and snare. If you want to move the sticks from one to the other you have to lift the sticks all the way over your leg to get to the other drum. Keep em at around the same height as your legs, you will remove that obstacle.
