dude. do you even listen to the cure? if you dont say that they at least have a goth feel then you're in the worst case of denial I've ever seen.

Have you heard anything from "faith" or "disintegration"?

if so you should seriously learn your music genres.

The Cure are definitely Goth or at the very least Alt./Indie with a heavy leaning towards Goth. Fat Bob was a member of Siouxsie And The Banshees for a short time and they're definitely Goth. Aye, I'll give you the fact that they often have a more electronic lead sound than most of the other famous Goth bands like the Sisters of Mercy, the Mission et al, but that does not make them a Pop group by any stretch of the imagination. If in doubt, listen to The Kiss from Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me
