St Michael le Belfrey in York is a church that is open during the day. It is next to York Minster and is in York City centre so it attracts a lot of tourists. Visitors are welcome to look around. Guy Fawkes was baptised in St Mikes and David Watson was the vicar here. For these reasons and many others people come from all over the world to visit our church. 24,000 people visited the church in the summer of 2008.
