I prefer green days older stuff to the likes of american idiot and 21st century of break down and in my opinion they need to make more songs like brain stew, and minority, longveiw all that jazz. plus EuGJaMMeR I think tre cool does have the right to wear trousers.
bit if they WANT to do something new they shouldn't care if the fans like it or not. musicians should do what they wanna do, not what the fans want them to do!
Who wants to hear the same thing for two decades? They changed there style and lost a few fans, but gained a few thousand. There old stuff is fucking epic, but their new stuff is damn good too. The only album I'm old enough to remember is American Idiot (I'm fourteen) and ever since my grandma bought it for me in '04, they have been my favorite band.
But the music they made in the 90s is what we 90s fans are supposed to be proud of but since they got the modern mainstream as well, how are we to differ both decades? Did Angus Young lose the shorts? Did Slash lose the hat?
It's not about how many fans you have.. But anyways, I'm starting to agree that maybe I shouldn't mind about all their changing, their eyeliners, their black clothing that makes them no different from 'MCR's' style now..

Im not a fan of Green Day for a long time. I've been love Green Day since American Idiot but I think the old stuff is better than new stuff, i admit that.
I hope their next album, they bringing punk back! The Old Green Day!
Yeah but how could they do that.. They're already as punk as they can get. They won't bring punk back because they were pop punk ever since, and that was good. Now they're some Alternative Rock stuff.
