Here is Mason in his final checkout, during his third week of lessons with Infant Aquatics. Learning to be safe in the water is an essential life skill. Infant Aquatics not only teaches water safety and survival skills, but offers continuing classes to teach parents how to enhance the skills learned in the initial phase of lessons, "Fundays" for 2-4 year olds, and stroke development classes for advanced students. Visit www.infantaquatics.com to discover the difference between being comfortable in the water and loving to swim safely.

  • Imagine the situation...a curious baby has strayed too close to water (something all children are fascinated by) they are fully clothed (babies do wear clothes!!) and they fall in - surely it is far better for the baby to be able to 'buy' some time like this instead of flapping around under the surface and possibly drowning....I can't believe the ignorance of people who don't understand the importance of teaching babies and toddlers to be water safe and confident!!!!

    GET ALL BABIES SWIMMING!!

  • they kept the babies clothes on becuz in a real life case,if he fell in a pool and noone was around,he'd have clothes on anyway! the baby was fine.they teach them to hold their breath in those classes..people drown with clothes on sometimes,so they must keep the babes clothes on while teachin him how to float on his back to save himself.

  • How come he floats, but when I jumped in the water when I was 8 I sank?

  • The pride of foolish parents.

  • Listen up Naysayers: Scenario A) Ur baby escapes through an unlocked door & falls into the pool. It takes u a few moments 2 notice him missing from his playpen where u saw him playing just seconds ago. He's been taught to float while calmly breathing & will be alive when u rush out to get him.

Scenario B) Same as 'A' but baby has never been taught to swim. He frantically flails about in distress while crying/gasping 4 air so he is unresponsive when u get 2 him. Pick one! Then shut up about it!

  • Perfect, Ideal, excellent. I commend you.

All Babies need to go through this.

We as humans are naturally drawn to water, but many of us are denied through the years and become fearfull of water.

  • This video was filmed 25 years ago. This baby is now a Navy Seal.

  • stupid!!

  • This baby is gonna see this video 10 years from now and he's gonna be like : MOM WTF ?!

  • @sexiibabydoll87 Instead of calling people "IDIOTS" you should think about something like, if the baby were to crawl/toddle out near a pool and fall in fully clothed....If it learns to float fully cloathed, chances are it will know all the more how to float in swimware. But these classes aren't for fun time, these classes are to teach the baby to float on its back in any given situation....
