A flammable gel is formed if ethanol is added to a saturated calcium acetate solution.

  • With quantities we used around 1min, though we do not recommend using the whole amount.

  • @pipkguitar so depending the temperature different amounts should be used..ill check it out then and see what i come up with :D thnx a ton

  • @tsourla Ah, not exactly sure. On wikipedia the "calcium acetate" page has solubility amounts for different temperatures if you have a scale. Also, I don't think it's technically a "supersaturated" solution, I could be wrong though
