  • Where did you get your kettle? It's nice I like it.

  • @jomom6969 I think I bought it at Target.

  • I use the microwave to heat water that is already in the cup

  • @Federico84

You should be careful. Water can get superheated in a microwave and spurt boiling water on you.

  • thank you very much for this video :))

    You're welcome.

  • Thanks for the video!

I live outside Chicago and many of the restaurants in my area serve great tea by letting you do it yourself. If you ask for hot tea you get a small tin kettle with boiling hot water enough for two cups, a few varieties of tea, some lemon slices, milk on request, and of course a tea cup and saucer. It's quite nice, actually.

  • Legend! That's how you make a real cuppa! I'm British btw

  • it might just be me but i find that adding sugar and milk hides the true taste of tea. i always say that if a tea isn't worth drinking when its black, then its probably not worth drinking at all.

  • Thankyou :)

  • Hi thank you for your informative video. I have two questions: When I worked in a coffee house in San Francisco, the Republic of Tea representatives instructed us never to boil water since it would "burn" the tea, I'm guessing that's not true? Also if you were at a table and serving tea to a few friends. What is the proper way to discard the loose tea from the strainer as if fills while pouring?

  • Thankyou very much for this video, I absolutely adore, your tea cups are lovely, I have always wanted to try Red Rose tea.

  • i had a teapot but i'm not sure i do anymore. i can probably adapt this without a teapot though.

  • i found this quite helpful for i am of British heritage and my heritage is dying

i enjoy being more British.....not just with tea, but with many other things found on the web. your tea video was by far the best

  • I like coffee. I enjoyed your video. :)
