These commercials aired on KBHK TV 44 and local ABC affiliate KNTV in 1988.

1. Raisin Bran (What an amazing jingle! And that's the voice of Paul Winchell as "Ray Raisin")
2. Fazz (I don't think a commercial could possibly get more 80's than this)
3. Sinex Nasal Spray
4. Jammin' Jets
5. Autowest Clearance Center (We had an '87 Voyager that was awesome. I miss it)
6. A Hirsch & Sons Jewelers
7. G.I. JOE Battleforce 2000 (I always wondered where these kids got the giant dioramas)
8. Love-A-Bye Baby
9. Promo for "Happy Days"
10. Lady Lovely Locks
11. Cheerios
12. Promo for "Darby O'Gill and the Little People"
13. Golden Grahams (I remember these commercials playing a lot)
14. Skyball (Never let it fall, never let it hit the ground!)
15. KBHK Station ID
16. ABC Station ID
17. Schick Alcohol Treatment Program
18. KNTV Station ID
19. ABC Kidavision Bumper
20. Promo for "The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show"
21. "After These Messages" Commercial Bumper (We'll be right...back!)
22. Fruit Wrinkles (I loved these things in preschool)
23. Pudding Roll Ups (A slight variation on the other one I've posted. I still think the redhead is Seth Green)

  • Before they made godawful games, Laughing Joking Numbnuts made some pretty decent toys.

  • @NinjaGhostScorpion You're right, most LJN games are awful...but I have a soft spot for Jaws on the NES.

  • Did Will Vinton do those "After These Messages..." commercial bumpers on ABC?!

  • I don't know for sure, but to me the style of the claymation looks different than Vinton's.

Also: CBS is the parent company of Will Vinton Productions, and CBS aired all of the specials he made, so I think he was attached exclusively to CBS.

  • 50! :D I'm going to watch these all as a marathon tonight. Thanks for uploading <3

  • Congratulations on the 50th episode of the best thing on the internet. Let's celebrate by launching some of those Jammin' Jets. Why didn't I get one of these? I've never even seen one. Seriously, I'm turning off the computer and I'm going to find me some goddamn Jammin' Jets.

  • this is amazing

  • @danfuby But they did have BBS (Bulletin Board System) things at that point. On an unrelated note, many usenet posts from the 1980s still survive to view...now that is a shock.

  • i guess after you lose the craving for alcohol you start rockin mr. rodgers sweaters other guy hasnt got there yet

  • SkyBall was a fantastic toy. Been looking for a new one online with no success

  • @orion5175 society was different, certain things weren't talked about., we kind of lived with blinders on especially if you were a kid...and i guess the world was better for it.

  • i wish i could go back for just one day.....

  • wow i forgot how cool our toys were back in those days!....im excited!

  • @dynomitis FFS, OF COURSE it's a commercial for official G.I. Joe's. I can't think of any conceivable reason why you would think otherwise.

  • These were great! Thanks for giving us all the opportunity to relive our cherished memories!

  • @80sCommercialVault That reminds me of a few years ago, when the local UPN station ran a commercial for an STD medication between the end of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the start of Disney's One Too (I was working packing shipments for a small company, and the only stations that came in on the TV in the room was that station and various religious and/or Spanish stations. I watched a lot of latter-day Disney Afternoon that year).
