Painting Prothro Blue

In preparation for the game at Boise State on Saturday, September 25, the Tommy Prothro practice field was painted blue. The scout team will also wear blue jerseys. The game will be televised live on ABC at 5 p.m.

Boise State had a blue football field back in this jerk's day? How long ago was it for Boise State to have the idea of painting their Football Field blue? Remember, Tommy Prothro coached UCLA back in the 1960's.

All I said was they didn't deserve to be in the number 3 ranking, and that is the response?
FACT: Strength of schedule is the reason why BSU is not taken as seriously as an Alabama, or an Ohio St. team.
Do I believe BSU is a very well coached and fundamentally sound team? No doubt.
Have they shown on the field that they can beat the other 9 teams in the top 10? Not a chance.
I am not bashing. Just stating opinion.

@Cenamark2 So, they won't lose huh. Kinda seemed like OSU was lucky to even be in the game and that special teams made the score closer than it should have been. Just sayin.

it's funny how schools are always making a big FUSS about BUDGET CUTS, yet they use the money for the most ridiculous things. the lame blue field doesn't even look nice. save the money for clubs, classrooms, books, financial aid, etc. whoever had this idea is an idiot and should be fired.

When you know you can't win, you may as well get what publicity out of the loss that you can. As an OSU fan, even I know we are going to lose and have to look at that field every time we go by it. Why remind ourselves of the game. BSU is the real deal. Not that we suck, but they are amazing.
P.S. Thanks for spending my tuition on that stupid blue paint.
