Part 1

Hello This is XPJay17 and i'm doing a whole game speedrun of "Donkey Kong Country" for the GBA, so I begin with the intro, and I start on Jungle Hi-Jinx, which i didn't do so bad on. Then i move onto Ropey Rampage, which I also didn't do so bad on, but I had to end with the level using Diddy, well who cares, anyway?..... Now I move onto Reptile Rumble... also you may have seen that it looked like it was already done.. I had to redo the level so I apoligize for that.. anyway, I move onto Coral Capers, which wasn't too hard. I was able to get all the KONG Letters... Next, I do one of the new bonus's for this game.... Funky's Fishing which as you see, you have to catch 20 Red fish.. as you can see I succeeded.. Finally I have began Barrel Cannon Canyon......

  • @DeweyTheTotodile Ah. I wouldn't know about the second Earthworm Jim game on the GBA, as I never played it...yet. *Eyes shift left and right.*

  • @Fgsfds1995 My bad. ^^; I meant the 2nd one. It's slow and the controls are horrible. The 1st one was pretty enjoyable.

Never played that one. I'll check it out.

  • @DeweyTheTotodile What are you talking about? Earthworm Jim was an excellent port! The music was very similar to the SNES version, and the levels are all just about the same. The only disappointment in the GBA version of Earthworm Jim for me was the fact that you couldn't make Jim say "Groovy!" over and over, like you can on the SNES version. That's only a minor issue and can easily be ignored, though. You want to see a terrible port, check out Killer Instinct for the GBA.

  • @MrKojoman you know this was made by rare, they are still doing handheld projects with nintendo.

  • @MrKojoman returns shows that retro can do it pretty good too

  • looks pretty close to the original. I wouldn't be able to stand those sound effects for long though, so terrible!

  • @Zaragan163 Graphics

  • I miss this game...
