For whatever reason, Wayne has always referred to Eddie as "Johnny." John is Eddie's middle name. And funny thing is, Wayne's name isn't really Wayne. Wayne's website may not be updated yet and may still have Eddie's photos on it, but if you read the "News" there was a mention that Eddie left the band. Eddie is touring right now with the Horton Brothers, playing lead guitar.

My deepest apologies! OMG, that IS Eddie. I see it was recorded before he left the band. After watching this video a couple more times, I see why it doesn't sound like the usual top notch Wayne trio and smokin' Eddie on lead - the steel player is just about drowning out everyone, even playing over Wayne's singing. I liked these guys a lot better as a trio. Anyway, please forgive my earlier error!

I culled the info about the band from Wayne's website, I don't know if it's up to date. I thought he was calling the guitar player "Johnny"...The pedal steel player was a little loud, but I think it was more a case of where I was standing. I found a great spot to shoot the show before it started, out of everyone's way with a good sound blend, but as soon as Wayne hit the stage people rushed to the front, blocking everyone else's view, including mine. I said "screw this" and went up front.
