Living Hell is a free game that tries it's best to pay homage to the cult classic Splatterhouse, it basically features a guy in a hockey mask, weapons and monsters.
I played on the easy setting because the only difference with harder difficulties is the number of hits the enemies take to die, it doesn't make the game harder, just more tedious to play.
While it's not the best game around, it's free, give it a try, you can download it from nerlaska software website.

@jackic it's a bit complicated, each episod has it's qualities and flaws ... I think the final chapter of the original serie had to be different and innovative but what it gains in depth with it's multi-path scenario and secrets, it looses in creepy levels and atmosphere and big terrific disgusting bosses. The second episod might be the more famous and emblematic.
By the way, your tribute seems nice, I'll have to try it out :)

@thedragonb0y yes that is couse is NOT splatterhouse is just a tribute game and a lots of things are dificult in this game but thats make the game more like an arcade is too bad that be so short to finish but once you can you want more i rather this than the new X-360 splatterhouse if you ask me...

controls and sound effects ruins this game for me...
and because of the bad controls i didnt even pass the flame throwing horse :D....
btw whats the point of this health bar if u die with couple hits...

@verik2kk I have to disagree there, while Splatterhouse 3 can be considered good and one can like it the best, there's no arguing that it is -as of now- the worst one in the series.
