Sadly, I never made it down to see him conduct as he was only 2 hours away. I will live with that the rest of my life. I have NUMEROUS recordings by him and they were always and I mean ALWAYS top notch. My personal favorites were his recordings to Memories, Music of the Night, Mighty Joe Young to name a few. I hope you enjoy this film as I made it in his honor. I was fortunate to send him 11 covers a few days after he got his bad news and he signed each one To Peter Best Wishes Erich Kunzel. Thanks Mr. Kunzel. I hope that made you cheer up for a bit. You will be horribly missed.

He was and he actually is the best conductor for Henry Mancini's musics. Like in this music, he developed a impressive way to make music. Real and Beautiful Music. Thank you so much, Erich Kunzel.

He was dear friend, we sailed, we drank, & we had fun together on the island we both called home. One of the images here I took of him in his music room at Camelot. This is a wonderful tribute. Thank you, Tom Hindman.

saw him months before he died with Brian Stokes Mitchell and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir- an absolutely unbelievable performance- once in a lifetime experience

A great Tribute to a Great Talented Man, Erich Kunzel was one of the most talented musical Conductor I´ve hear in my life, his versions of multiple hollywood movie hits are very impressive & momorable, his music will be live forever.
