  • There are so many great videos on your channel that it's difficult to pick one over others, but this stood out because the chestnut bud takes on an almost human form as it grows and it's mesmerising to watch. Love the rotation, it helps. Not sure about the blue screen though, it looks too unnatural.

  • @Gwadeloop Thank you for your kind comments. You are correct that the blue screen is unnatural. I wanted to keep the shot clean plus the CSO blue can be used to superimpose a background later like a forest, a sky or a landscape.

I looked at your site. Very impressive. You obviously have a talent for music and an interest in nature.

  • Mannnn your videos are so cool! Can I use them in a classroom?

  • amazing!

  • @neilbromhall The forest background sounds like a good idea. None of the videos on my channel are actually mine, Neil - they're just videos I've favourited.

  • Nice footage!

  • Gosh, this is amazing! We miss all of this detail when watching horse chestnut buds opening in spring on the trees. We notice the sticky bud scales which protect the bud from the weather and pests, but I didn't realise how hirsute the new leaves and stems are - lovely insulation during the coldest months.
