I don't know if the axe he's using is all that special, but he sure makes efficient (German) use of it.
On balance it's probably the elastic band that is key here.

  • it's swedish axe, you can clearly read "fiskars" on the side of the axe

  • @ricky1oh1 human legs do not offer mush resistance to an axe, I expect they would split open much faster than wood.

  • офигенно

  • @ricky1oh1 Dumb comment

  • @TheCitygal87 Why would I destroy so much beauty for money? That's pathetic.

  • @cavemantiger No we can't do that in Sweden, it's illegal, I'm just saying that YOU can do it and become rich, it was MY business idea.

Where do you live? I think I will come and chop down your forests and start a company selling wood to other countries.

Don't blame Sweden for not having any respect, it's MY idea, Swedes are pretty much faggots that is afraid of everything.

  • @TheCitygal87 That's what you people do in Sweden? Holy fuck, I am SO glad I'm not there. Shit... No fucking respect for this world.

  • @cavemantiger I have a business idea for you, cut down the WHOLE forest then sell the wood to another country! NO ONE can stop you! Congrats mate, I just made you rich! :)

  • @TheCitygal87 Yuck, I'd hate for someone to own our forests. It's nice to be able to walk five minutes away and be free from society.

I like our system better, it' cheaper and easier.

  • @cavemantiger Well, in Sweden there is someone owning the forest wherever you go, although it's not really expensive to buy wood, very very cheap, so no Swede gives a shit, besides it's safer to have a professional to cut down a tree and deliver it to the person who needs it so he doesn't need to rent a truck to carry the wood.

We have a good system when it comes to this, so its not really more expensive then going out and chop your own wood.

  • @TheCitygal87 Uhh... EVERYONE DOES. No one OWNS the forest. It's not against the law here.

Redneck? Like an American? Please, I have SOME self respect... I would never stoop so low into living in THAT shithole.

  • @cavemantiger ...what? -.-

Imagine if EVERYONE just went out and started to chop wood.. It's Against the law.

Also, if you owned a forest, would you like people chopping down your trees?

    Typical redneck thinking mate..

  • @TheCitygal87 Why the backyard...? Yeesh... Where I live you take a pickup 5 minutes into the bush, chop up the new deadfall and pile it by the chute... I can't imagine PAYING for WOOD. You may as well pay for air....

  • @cavemantiger Sweden atleast, you can't just go into someone's backyard and start chopping wood

  • straight up paul bunyan shit!

  • @micahkimball Where do you live where people BUY wood!??!?!

  • @nnabiollahi There are some videos on youtube that do not qualify as myths.

  • coooolll

  • The axe is Finnish.

  • rinse and repeat

  • The axe he's using is a Fiskars X25 - about as good as it gets. His aim is very very good though. Having used one of these axes, regardless of the price I'm going to have to get one, they are the bogs dollocks..

  • 신기해다

  • The ax IS important. He is using a Fiskars, a Finnish ax that has a teflon type of coating. I didnt understand its use until i saw this video -- thank you!

I was frustrated by the fiskars because it doesnt stick in the wood, so you cant set the ax then turn the piece over to bang the head, thus parting the wood.

but in this technique the Fiskars comes out cleaning, allowing this GREAT method. Wow!
