The use of Mercury inevitably leaves the poisonous Mercury still in the environment. Since you know its deadly, why do you want to put poison into your own air, then water, then plants as it poisons your own local area? Don't use any Mercury at all. ( And save the expense of buying it in the first place. )

well i dont think it would be too far-fetched to assume the gold comes from the ground :O

and if you dig a bit deeper, you'll find that there's so much of the stuff, that you could cover the entire Earth 2 feet deep in gold :)
