How to Reconnect Media in Final Cut Pro. This tutorial was made for the University of Nevada, Reno and is tailored for students working in the Dynamic Media Lab.
Hey Daniel, can u tell me if there's a way I can reconnect to media if I've lost the original files? I have the frames and everything on final cut but I don't have the original files:?
hello there, i need help with my final cut pro....I have edited my project in another computer before i saved the project and opened it on another computer. The thing is i only have the final cut session saved from the previous computer. Thus, the media files all went offline. So how do i find the media files from the previous computer? And if i found it, do i have to re-edit my video in the timeline? Thanks.
Is this the same with soundtrack pro?

This is helpful. However, when I save the final cut project, quit out, and go back in again, it forgets the reconnected media.
i.e. it rolls back to the old paths.
I am assuming that the project should remember the new paths when you reconnect them. Is this correct?
How do I work around my problem?
thanks
