More information on this project and related projects is at http://klapstoelpiloot.blogspot.com/

This is what I built in my home and this video is my own work. Both the computer and the software is self made. The interface is inspired by the LCARS interface from Star Trek.

Shown in this video are:
- Agenda/Calendar
- Shopping list (Groceries)
- Rain radar
- Train departure times (because the train station is nearby)
- Library & Media player (connected to home cinema set)
- Internet browser

Not shown, but also operational is bluetooth support (notice the Transfer button to send the shopping list to your telephone)

  • do you know how many people would buy this? will me for starters.

  • @Leijonasisu It shows his Calendar, shopping list, weather, train schedule, a web browser, and a media player, yet 95% of the of all that is irrelevant?

Did you even watch the video? Cause he was totally setting up his house...

  • Omfg I can't believe I watched this. Soo nerdy and dumb every one is like omfg that's cool it's stupid.

  • You. Are. My. Hero.

  • @UTUBESUCK666 I don't need your pity utubesuck666. (Nice username btw). I'm sure that all I have amounted to in my life has far surpassed making a pointless computer that can turn on lights just so I can sate my own ego. Besides, how do you know the guy built it from scratch? Only 3 days ago I saw a guy featured on 'Cribs' who had a whole Star Trek themed apartment. He said he had bought most of his tech stuff online and it only needed hooking up. Stfu, replying is pointless clown.

  • @Leijonasisu

LOL.... Tell us all what greatness YOU have accomplished in your miserable life? You might not find this gadget relevant or even useful, it's your opinion and that's OK. But to call it "stupid"? The only thing stupid here is your offensive comment and your total lack of appreciation for something the guy build himself from scratch. His setup has a cool factor totally out of scale and you're too close minded to even recognize it. I sincerely pity you.

  • Dude if you sold this you would be a millionaire, possibly a billionaire. Then you could use that wealth to make entire star trek themed homes...

I'm about to jizz a bit, not going to lie.

  • This is too awesome to describe.

  • 25647? Wth try 2036 or year 2043

  • Computers like this will be in 25647
